CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's soccer team will look to improve on its 5-4-1 record on Wednesday when it faces Boston University at Nickerson Field on the BU Campus. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m. The Terriers own a 3-5-1 overall record, and a 1-3-0 record at home. The Eagles are searching for their first road victory.
Sophomore Laina Ceddia is BC's leading scorer, scoring five goals and adding three assists, for 13 points. Junior Sarah Rahko is second with two goals and six assists, for 10 points.
In last year's meeting between the two rivals, the Eagles won a 3-1 decision at Newton Campus Field.
In BC's last outing, Rahko propelled the Eagles to a thrilling 1-0, overtime victory against BIG EAST rival Providence. The win broke a string of three consecutive losses for the Eagles.
