Kolanos has helped lead the Coyotes to a 18-16-6-3 record and third place in the Pacific standings behind San Jose and Dallas. Kolanos has tallied 10 goals and nine assists while playing in all 43 games this season. He also leads all rookies in +/- with a +7.
Kolanos tallied the championship-winning goal in overtime for his Boston College team over the University of North Dakota last season in the NCAA Frozen Four. In two seasons at Boston College, Kolanos scored 41 goals and 41 assists and racked up 102 penalty minutes.
