PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Boston College faced off against teams from Duquesne University and CAA Conference member George Mason University on Sunday in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Eagles were defeated by George Mason 31-6 and by Duquesne by a final tally of 54-0. Following Sunday's match-ups, the Eagles are 1-10 overall and 0-3 in the CAA Conference.
In their match-up against George Mason, the Eagles' only victory came from a forfeit in the 197-pound weight bracket. Otherwise, George Mason dominated the match, forcing 3 falls and winning all other bouts by a major decision. Duquesne University also dominated the Eagles, forcing 4 falls and winning all other matches by a major decision.
Boston College Wrestling competes next on Saturday, February 2 in Providence, Rhode Island, against teams from Brown and Drexel Universities.
