Wrestling Defeated by Rutgers and American Universities

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - The Boston College wrestling squad faced off against teams from Rutgers and American Universities this past Saturday. The Eagles walked away with two losses on the day, dropping their record down to 2-8 in dual meet events this season. Boston College's record remains 0-2 in the CAA Conference.
The Eagles were out-wrestled in all bouts against Rutgers, losing by a final tally of 55-0. Their performance against American University, however, was a different story, dropping the contest 36-20. Evan Williams for Boston College defeated American's Aviv Bercovicz in the 157 pound bracket 5-0 while Brad Shemluck defeated Adam Montgomery by a technical fall at 7:00.
The Eagles will face off next against Duquesne and James Madison Universities on Saturday, January 26th in Pittsburgh, Pa.
