Charlemont, Mass. -The Boston College women's skiing team finished atop the standings in both the Slalom and Giant Slalom events this past weekend at the University of Massachusetts Carnival held at Berkshire East.? The Eagles sit in the driver's seat of the Eastern Collegiate Ski Conference after the first weekend with a three-point lead over Brown University and the University of Massachusetts.
The Eagles were led out of the gate by junior Lori Williams as she took fourth and first in the Slalom and Giant Slalom events.? Senior Christina Gush was not far behind with her fifth and sixth place finishes, nor were sophomores Erica Pylman, eleventh and seventh, and Jennifer Runco, twelfth and seventh.? Senior Erin Holmes added a top 25 finish in the Slalom for good measure as the Eagles wrapped up the top spot in both events.
The Eagles will next compete on Saturday, January 26, at the Plymouth State Carnival in Waterville Valley, NH.
