CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Sophomore midfielder Sarah Rahko (Londonderry, N.H.) picked up her second All-America honor of the 2001 season on Thursday when SoccerBuzz.com named her to the second-team. She had already been named third-team All-America by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Rahko finished the 2001 season with nine goals and eight assists for 26 points, and over her first two seasons with the Eagles she has recorded 17 goals and dished out 21 assists for a total of 56 points. Rahko helped lead Boston College back to the NCAA tournament after a one-year hiatus where the team played the University of Nebraska in the first round.
