CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Following a 10-day layoff because of the tragedies in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania, the Boston College women's soccer team is back in action at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, against Ivy League foe Dartmouth University at Newton Campus Soccer Field.

Following its win against Ohio State on Sept. 9, Boston College was scheduled to take on the University of Hartford (9/12) and the University of New Hampshire (9/15), both at Newton Campus Soccer Field, but the games were postponed due to attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on Tuesday.

Ohio State jumped out early on Boston College as Buckeye forward Lindsey Eckles scored off an assist from Lisa Grubb in the 12th minute. The Eagles did not get down as they came back in the 40th minute when forward Maureen Jenkins (Woodlands, TX/The Woodlands) took advantage of a mishap by Ohio State goalkeeper Jen Heaney and slid the ball in the back of the net.
Boston College kept the momentum going in the second half as senior Meghan Moore (Santa Barbara, Calif.) scored in the Sarah Rahko (Londonderry, N.H.) to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead.
Rahko was not done as in the 67th minute she dribbled through the Ohio State defense and netted the Eagles third goal, which would be good enough to give Boston College the victory.
