Rahko Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College sophomore forward Sarah Rahko was named BIG EAST Player of the Week on Monday after scoring two goals and adding an assist over the weekend at the UConn/Diadora Classic in Storrs, Conn.
Rahko netted her first goal of the season in Boston College's 3-2 loss to the University of Georgia. In Sunday's matchup against previously undefeated Ohio State, she tallied one goal and one assist in the Eagles 3-1 victory.
With her two goals and one assist, Rahko now has 10 goals and 14 assists over her first two seasons at Boston College.
Rahko and the rest of the Eagles are back in action at 3 p.m. Wednesday when they take on the University of Hartford at Newton Campus Soccer Field.
