2001 Eagles Boast Top Recruiting Class in Northeast Division

Chestnut Hill, Mass - The 2001 version of the Boston College women's soccer team has been voted as having the top recruiting class in the Northeast Region, according to Soccer Buzz Magazine. The soccer publication ranks the Eagles as having the 21st best recruiting class overall.
The Eagles top a list of 41 Northeast Region teams and their overall rank lists them 21st among 278 Division I women's soccer programs.
This marks the second consecutive season that the Eagles have had the top recruiting class in the Northeast Region according to the magazine. Last season, the maroon and gold came in at tenth overall.
Preseason All-BIG EAST Team selections Meghan Moore and Sarah Rahko and the Eagles soccer team start the regular season on September 1st against the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. That game takes place at 7 p.m. at Agawam High School, in Agawam, MA.
