Selected Track Members Compete At Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass.- Selected members of the Boston College men and women's track and field teams competed at Holy Cross' decathlon/heptathlon on Wednesday, April 18 and Thursday, April 19, in Worcester, MA.
Winning the women's heptathlon, sophomore Christina Regan collected a 4,267 points. In second was Jessica Horne of Salem State with 3,744, third was Nastaran Horne of UMass-Amherst with 3,634, fourth Addy Dansher of Colby-Sawyer with 3,592 and Jessica Pikul of UMass-Amherst was fifth with 3,395.
In the men's decathlon, freshman Brendan Moloney took 15th with 4,810 points. Winning the event was Dan Conti of Holy Cross with 6,221 points, followed by Hason Haag (6,040) of Coast Guard, Rod Manzo (5,216) of Army, Seth Battett (5,766) of Army and Steve Virgillo (5,703) of Holy Cross.
The men and women's track and field teams will next compete at the Husky Invitational on Saturday, April 21, at the Solomon Track, in Boston. While selected members of both team will travel to Walnut, CA to compete in the Mt. SAC Relays on Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21.
