# 64 Women's Tennis Takes One From Terriers

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Boston College women's tennis captured a victory over Boston University Tuesday, April 10, at Harvard by a score of 4-3.
The Eagles began on the doubles side where they captured the doubles point by winning two out of the three matches. Freshman Allison Ashley and sophomore Jessica Engel teamed up as did sophomore Anisha Fernando and freshman Emily Hellberg, to win their doubles matches and secure the point for the Eagles.
On the singles side the Eagles split the six matches and earned three points on the shoulders of senior Cynthia Tow, A. Fernando, and Hellberg. Senior Kiren Fernando, junior Ruta Veitas, and Ashley also competed in singles.
The women's tennis team finished the season 11-6 in dual matches and 5-1 in BIG EAST play and are currently ranked #64 in the WingspanBank.com National Collegiate tennis rankings for the week of April 11. The team will take the court next at the BIG EAST tournament April 20-22 in Coral Gables, Fla.
