Women's Ice Hockey Shutout By Princeton

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-The Boston College women's ice hockey team was defeated by Princeton University, 3-0, tonight in an ECAC match-up in Kelley Rink, in Chestnut Hill, Mass Scoring the Tigers game winning goal was Andrea Kilbourn.
Jumping on top at 14:27 of the first period, Kilbourn scored from a Laura Hayes pass. The Tigers out shot the Eagles, 10-5, heading into the first intermission.
Coming out strong in the second period. Princeton would score an insurance goal at 14:44. Aniva Gruinet-Morris scored from Abbey Fox. At 18:28, the Tigers would score their third and final goal, when Jessica Fedderly slipped a shot past Boston College goalie Sharon Van Tuyl. Collecting her second assist was Abbey Fox.
For the game, Princeton out shot the Eagles 27-10. Picking up the loss, Van Tuyl stopped 24 and Princeton's Sarah Ahlinquest saved 10. The Eagles fall to 5-20-0 and 1-18-0 in ECAC league play. Princeton improves to 10-8-2 and 5-8-2 in the league.
The Eagles will next face Yale tomorrow, Sun. Feb. 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Kelley Rink in Conte Forum, in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
