MEN'S TENNIS DROPS CLOSE MATCH TO DARTMOUTH

HANOVER, N.H. -- The Boston College men's tennis team fell to Dartmouth on Thursday, February 8 6-1.
The Eagles scored their only point when freshman Ross Pytko defeated Jesse Paer of Dartmouth. The five other Eagles competing in singles were senior Chris Mercurio, junior Marc Lucero, freshmen Justin Slattery, Brad Anderson and Paul Colahan.
Dartmouth was also strong on the doubles side where they took all three matches from the Eagles. The teams of senior Matt Stutz and junior Tim Brennan, Slattery/Pytko and Anderson/Colahan all fell to the Big Green.
The Eagles currently have a dual match record of 5-3 and 1-0 in the BIG EAST. The men's tennis team will next see action against Kentucky, at Harvard on Sunday, February 11, at 7:30 p.m.
