After a long weekend in New York, it is fair to say that we are in a slump. Does this happen to everyone? Yes, but unfortunately our slump has continued a little longer than planned. However, this is not the end of the season. In fact, our season is just beginning. After having numerous games postponed, we still have two-thirds of our season left. A new chapter is about to begin for this Boston College team and we are planning on starting it on a good note.
We are looking forward to our second home game today against cross-town rival Boston University. Today's game starts a seven-game home span for us. Now, is that not a perfect way to start steak and end a slump? WE DEFINITELY THINK SO!
As a team, we can carry away a lot of things from this weekend road trip in New York. As a team, we got a chance to bond with each other, which is already proving to be beneficial after an incredible training session on Monday. It's easy to go with the flow when we are winning, but when you are in a slump, a win becomes a challenge. It is clear that EVERYONE associated with our program is awaiting this challenge. As a team, we know that every member on the team plays a vital role in our success and without everyone, we aren't going anywhere.
So as we approach today's game and the games that follow, we have nothing but pride and we walk with our heads high.
