Three Honored By Soccer Buzz

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Three Boston College women's soccer players were recently honored by Soccer Buzz, an on-line publication, for their play during the 2000 season.
Sarah Powell, a second team All-America back from Natick, Mass., was honored with a Succer Buzz second team All-America honor. The senior was also named to the Northeast Region first team and was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Year in the Northeast Region.
Freshman Sarah Rahko, from Londonderry, N.H., was named an honorable mention All-American and a first team all-region. The midfielder was chosen as the Northeast Region Freshman of the Year and was also a first team Freshman All-America selection.
Junior Meghan Moore, from Santa Barbara, Calif., was also added to the third team All-Northeast Region.
The Boston College women's soccer team finished the season with a 14-7 record after advancing to the semifinals of the BIG EAST tournament.
