Waterville Valley, N.H. - The Boston College ski team had a very successful weekend at t he annual Plymouth State College Carnival in Waterville Valley, NH. Junior Christina Gush (Green Mountain Valley School) and freshman Seth Therrien (Stratton Mountain School) each took second in the slaloms and first place in the giant slaloms. This is the first victory for each in college skiing competition and the first time that a BC man has won a race since 1998. Overall, the men's team took 2nd in the slalom and 3rd place in the giant slalom, while the women placed 2nd in both the slalom and giant slalom event. Plymouth State College took first place honors in both men's and women's slalom and giant slalom.
