Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The 14th-ranked Eagles defeated the 19th-ranked Cardinal 3-2 in a tension-filled battle. With no time remaining on the clock at the end of the second half and Stanford leading 2-1, the referee signaled a penalty corner for Boston College. The Eagles converted the opportunity on a shot by junior forward Amelie Wulff (Dusseldorf, Germany) to tie the score at two and send the game into a six-on-six sudden-death overtime period.
