The Women Eagles bounced back from a trouncing at Brandeis University to go undefeated in the last dual meet of the season. The Men's and Women's teams will not be traveling together for their meets for the rest of this season. The women had five team wins for the day against UMass (25 - 2), Tufts (18 - 9), Brown (14 - 13), Wellesley (19 - 8), and Smith (17 - 10). Junior Michele Guevera went undefeated in 15 individual bouts, while her fellow foilist, Senior Holly Russell, went 14 - 1.
Both the Men's and Women's team has next weekend off. Several fencers from both teams will be traveling to Sacramento, CA, from February 18 - 21 to compete in the Under - 20 Junior National Olympic Championships. On the 26th of February the women will travel to Smith College (Northampton, MA) for the women's New England Championships.
