Bentley Named Head Women's Tennis Coach

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Nigel Bentley, who has served the past four seasons as the head coach of the Boston College men's tennis team, has been named as the head coach of the Eagles' women's tennis team. Boston College will begin its search for a new men's tennis coach immediately.
Bentley finished his fourth season as the men's head coach in 2000 after serving as an assistant during the 1995 and 1996 seasons. He is a United States Tennis Association member with a professional '1' rating, and he has worked as the head tennis professional at several country clubs throughout the United States and abroad.
During his tenure at Boston College, Bentley has served on the NCAA Regional selection committee as well as the BIG EAST seeding committee.
A 1983 graduate of Connecticut College, Bentley and his wife Betsy reside in Acton with their son Blake and daughter Sarah.
