BC Women Compete at Northeast Regionals

This past Saturday, the Women's Fencing Team sent nine of their best to compete in the NCAA Northeast Regionals, held at Vassar College. In foil competition, Junior Michelle Guevera placed 12th, with fellow foilists Holly Russell and Sue Boyle finishing 18th and 23rd, respectively. Thirty - five foilists competed at the Regionals. In sabre comepition, BC's own Cecilia Boudreasu earned an impressive 10th place finish out of 35 competitors. Rounding out BC's sabre team Rebecca King and Ellen Coates finished 17th and 34th, respectively. Finally, in the epee competition, Freshmen Kate Boyle and Gena Koufos placed 15th and 20th, while Junior Regina Lennox took 31st place. Thirty - four epeeists fenced in the epee competition.
