Eagles Claim Three Events At Husky Invitational

On April 22, the men's track team took part in the Husky Invitational, hosted by Northeastern University in Dedham, Mass. The Eagles claimed three events and took six other top-three finishes. There were no team scores.
Senior tri-captain Erik DeMarco won t he 400-meter hurdles, running a 56.73. Sophomore Colin Wolfe took first in the 10,000-meter race with his 31:42.27. Classmate Tony Bierne took top honors in the discus with a 132'6" heave.
Other top finishers included: senior Pete Vaglio (third- 200m, third- 400m), junior Dan Fitzgerald (third- 800m), junior Christian DeLuke (third- 10,000m), senior Derek Holland (second- 3000m steeplechase), and junior Joel Quintong (second- discus).
The Eagles will next compete in the annual dual meet with Harvard on Sunday, April 30.
