Miller, Pitt, Leuchs Rank Among Nation's Leaders

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Sophomore attack Lauren Miller (Timonium, MD) leads the country in assists and is fourth in the country in points per game, according to the NCAA women's lacrosse statistics released on March 28.
Through seven games, Miller has registered 31 points on 10 goals and 21 assists. Her 21 assists leads the nation at 3.00 average per game. Her 4.43 points per game average ranks her fourth in the country.
Miller is also tied for second on the individual game-high list after notching five assists against Denver on Febuary 21.
Senior attack Susan Pitt (Milwaukee, WI) is also listed among the nation's leaders in goals per game. She has registered 21 goals in seven games for a 3.00 average, tying her for 15th in the country.
In goaltending statistics, sophomore Valerie Leuchs (Mt. Airy, MD) ranks 11th in save percentage with a .616 mark. In five games, she has faced 112 shots and stopped 69. Her 23 save-effort against Boston University also ranks her second in single-game highs for goaltenders. She has recorded a 2-2 overall record so far this season.
Boston College holds a 3-4 record on the season and will next face Yale at Alumni Stadium on April 5 at 3:30 p.m.
