In the competition's longest match, third-singles player Kiren Fernando outlasted Sarah Osborn after dropping the first set, 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.
The Eagles will next compete in three matches - against Nevada-Las Vegas, Oklahoma State and Bowling Green - in Las Vegas, March 17-19.
