CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Cynthia Tow, 66th-ranked nationally, took the lone Eagle victory against the University of Miami with her first-singles victory over Meredith Laughlin, 6-0, 6-4, on March 9 in Miami as Boston College fell to the Hurricanes, 8-1.
Miami swept the doubles matches and took five of the six singles matches.
The Eagles continued their Spring Break Florida trip at Florida International on March 10.
