Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Freshman forward Krys Kolanos, who has terrorized Northeastern all season long, scored the game-winning goal at 10:34 of the third period to lead Boston College to a 3-2 victory over the Huskies in the second game of the HOCKEY EAST quarterfinal-round series at BC's Kelley Rink.
Junior goaltender Scott Clemmensen made 25 saves for the Eagles to earn his 15th win of the season.
The victory gave BC a 2-0 series sweep, advancing the Eagles to the tournament's semifinal round, which will be held at Boston's FleetCenter on Friday, March 17. Boston College (25-10-1) is the tournament's two-time defending champion.
