Women's Soccer Shunned by NCAA Selection Committee

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's Soccer team was denied entry to the 2000 NCAA Tournament, even though it recorded a 14-7 record against what was arguably their hardest schedule ever.
The Eagles must now face the realization that their 2000 season is over, and look towards the 2001 season as the program's next step into the nation's elite.
Last season the Eagles made it as far as the third round in the tournament, the highest any BC women's soccer team has ever advanced.
