Chestnut Hill, Mass. -- Senior Joy Ramsbotham (Melvin, NH) netted two goals while fellow senior Anne Marie Ambrose (Bridgeton, NJ) scored the game winner with 19:04 left in the game as Boston College improved its record to 2-0 with a 5-1 win over Temple.
Ramsbotham opened the scoring with an early goal, just 12 minutes into the game, off of an assist from Ambrose. The score remined 1-0 at halftime and into the second half until Temple's Torrie Russell tied the game with 24:08 left in the game. The Eagles answered back with Ambrose's unassisted goal. Janis Cornwell (Wolfeboro, NH) and Amelie Wulff (Duesseldorf, Germany) scored the Eagles' other two goals.
