CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Former collegiate stars Stacy Bilodeau (Walpole, Mass.) and Sarah Dacey (Framingham, Mass.) will join the Boston College women's soccer staff as assistant coaches, according to head coach Alison Foley.
Bilodeau was a three-year starting goalkeeper for James Madison University (1996-98). She earned All-Colonial Athletic Association honors during each of her three seasons. At Boston College, her main responsibility will be working with the goalkeepers.
Dacey comes to Boston College from the University of North Carolina where she served the 1997 season as a graduate assistant coach for the women's soccer team. Prior to that, she was a three-year starter in midfield for the Tar Heels (1993-96). Dacey earned Soccer News honorable mention All-America honors after her senior season.
The Eagles open the season at home on September 2 against BIG EAST conference rival Connecticut.
