Women's Soccer Earns Tough Win

CHESTNUT HILL, MA -- Senior Gabrielle Bieg (Haddonfield, NJ) scored the game-winning goal with 23:20 left in the first half to lead No. 14 Boston College to a 1-0 victory over No. 16 Univeristy of Massachusetts-Ahmerst.
Biegs goal came off of an assist from junior forward Kellie Misiaszek (Greenland, NH). It was Biegs second goal of the season. Junior Jill Dedman (Orange, CT) was stellar recorded her second consecutive shutout while stopping nine Minutemen shots.
Boston College improved their record to a perfect 3-0. They will open their BIG EAST season with a match on Friday, September 11 against Villanova at Alumni Stadium. Game time is 7:30 pm
