Boston College freshman Morgan Page (Westerly, R.I.) notched her second collegiate hat trick and added one assist to lead the Eagles to a 6-0 victory over Northeastern at Bowditch Field in Framingham, Mass.
Page's first goal came two minutes before halftime and her second goal came two minutes after halftime. Junior Mary Guarino (Plantation, Fla.) assisted on both of Pages goals. Page tallied her third goal of the game, 12th of the season, in the 79th minute off a perfect corner kick from sophomore Rachael Klemanski (Farmington, Conn.).
Freshman Meghan Moore (Santa Barbara, Calif.) began the scoring at the 23 minute mark off an assist from Page. Junior Kristine Klagges (Huntington, N.Y.) scored BCs second goal in the 30th minute.
Junior Gravity Goldberg (East Granby, Conn.) notched her first collegiate goal when she lifted the ball over Northeastern's sprawling goalkeeper.
Sophomore Courtney Schaeffer (South Huntington, N.Y.) made two saves to preserve her sixth shutout of the season. Northeastern's Cindy Cochran and Sarah Riedel each made two saves.
Boston College improves to 6-3-1 with the victory, while Northeastern falls to 2-6. The Eagles return to action on Friday, October 2 at 7:30 p.m. when they travel to Pittsburgh.
