Boston College sophomore Jillian Livolsi (Northport, N.Y.) ended a New Hampshire comeback with her game-winning goal in the 67th minute to give the Eagles a 3-2 victory at Bowditch Field in Framingham, Mass.The Eagles dominated the early part of the game, outshooting the Wildcats 8-2 in the first half. Freshman Morgan Page (Westerly, R.I.) gave BC a 1-0 lead when she blasted the ball past the UNH goalie in a one-on-one situation.
Junior Brandy Manza (Tacoma, Wash.) gave the Eagles a two goal lead when she took a pass from sophomore Rachael Klemanski (Farmington, Conn.) and buried her shot in the right corner.
New Hampshires Tara Foley brought the Wildcats within one goal at 56:55. Kristin Cannistraro evened the scored at 60:07. Livolsi followed with the gamewinner six minutes later.
Boston College moves to 9-5-3, while New Hampshire falls to 8-7. The Eagles will return to action on Sunday, October 25 at 1 p.m. when they travel to Washington, D.C. to face BIG EAST foe Georgetown.
