Boston College freshman Morgan Page (Westerly, R.I.) capped an exciting Eagle comeback with her game-winning goal 11 minutes into overtime that gave BC a 3-2 victory over Brown University in the Eagles season finale.
Browns Emily Dreblow gave the Bears an early lead with her penalty kick in the 10th minute. The Eagles fell behind 2-0 when Browns Courtney Raker netted a goal at the 30:16 mark.
BC sophomore Sarah Powell (Natick, Mass.) gave the Eagles their first goal two minutes after halftime. Junior Janice Collein (Garden City, N.Y.) tallied the equalizer with under 10 minutes to play in regulation. The Eagles struck again 12 minutes into overtime when Page finished the game with her 15th goal of the season.
Sophomore Courtney Schaeffer (South Huntington, N.Y.) made four saves for BC. Browns Elise Roy made eight saves.
Boston College ends the regular season at 11-5-3 overall, 5-3-3 in the BIG EAST. Brown falls to 7-7-1 overall. The Eagles will return to action in the quarterfinal round of the BIG EAST Tournament on Monday, November 2 or Tuesday, November 3.
