SUMMARY:
Alyssa Chen and Heather Bentley both netted four goals to lead Yale (7-1) over Boston College (3-6) 17-8 this evening. Yale posted 12 goals in the first half, including all four by Heather Bentley, on way to a 12-1 halfime lead.
Midway through the second half with Yale leading 14-6, Boston College netted five unanswered goals to cut the lead to eight. However, Boston College would not get any closer than that.
Senior Danielle Wood and Sophmore Carrie Everett each contributed hat tricks for the Eagles.
Freshman Melissa Cole stopped 10 shots for the Eagles. Her older sister, Alison, also posted 10 saves for Yale.
