WOMENS LACROSSE
Chestnut Hill, Mass.---The Boston College Eagles finished its 1999 season with a 14-12 victory over the Villanova Wilcats on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Stadium.
Sophomores Emily Ryan (Havertown, PA) and Honor Crowther (Upper Nyack, NY) combined for nine goals in the winning effort, with five and four respectively. Lauren Miller (Timonium, MD) also contributed with two goals and four assists.
The season finale marked the first career start in goal for freshman Kristen Bitter (Manhasset, NY) who recorded her first victory.
Wildcats senior Meghan Doyle led all scorers with seven goals.
The Eagles finished its 1999 season at 4-11.
