Women's Hockey End Season on High Note

PROVIDENCE R.I.-- The Boston College Eagles ended their season on Sunday afternoon, with a 4-2 victory over Brown University, at Meehan Auditorium.
After a scoreless first period, Brown opened the scoring with a goal by Jill Graat at 1:02 of the second period. Marcie Deering added another goal at 11:40 of the second period to give Brown a 2-0 lead.
Sophomore goalie Laura Dickman began to take control of the game and finished with 53 saves. Boston College scored four unanswered goals, giving the Eagles their first ever win over Brown University.
Erin Magee opened the scoring for the Eagles netting their first goal at 13:38 of the second period. In the third period the Eagles used two power play goals, one by Kathleen Savino (3:26) and the other by Jennifer Buckley (7:27), to tie the game and eventually take the lead. Seventeen seconds later Nicole Butler added an insurance goal, netting her first goal of the year.
