WATERVILLE, ME-The Eagles exploded for six second period goals to pick up their third victory of the season over Colby College 8-0.
The Eagles were led by senior Erin Magee(Troy, NY) , who tallied her second hat trick of the season. Magee scored all three of her goals in the second period alone. Freshman Jaclyn Kryzak(Altamont, NY) scored a pair of goals in the second period as well. Jane Jorge(Allston, MA) finished out the scoring in the second with her fourth goal of the season at 17:58 mark.
Genevieve Missirlian(Northbrook, IL) scored the game winner at 7:49 of the first period of an assist from Amber Bobin(Northbrook, IL). Boston College came to play and dominated the entire game blasting 52 shots on goal in the first two periods, ending with 70 shots on goal.
Christy Nentwig(Chesterfield, MO) made 15 saves for the Eagles to pick up her first shutout of the season and give her, her third win of the season.
Boston College plays the University of New Hampshire on Saturday January 16, 1999. Game time is 7 p.m.
