Men's Tennis Competes at Stony Brook Invitational

Boston College senior Anand Annigeri (Manchester, Conn.) went 3-1 and advanced to the "A" singles final at the Stony Brook Invitational, played in Stony Brook, N.Y. on Feb. 12-14.
Annigeri won three consecutive matches before falling to second-seeded Tae Byon of Stony Brook, 6-3, 6-0.
Freshman Tim Brennan (Malden, Mass.) finished with a 2-1 reocrd in the "C" singles flight. Brennan advanced in straight sets through the first round and won a grueling three-set match in the second round.
The Eagles top doubles team, Annigeri and sophomore Jason Cowett (Del Mar, Calif.), defeated Concordia before falling to Stony Brook. Junior Brad Hughes (Wellesley, Mass.) and freshman Marc Lucero (San Diego, Calif.) teamed for two victories before falling to Kutztown in the finals of the "C" doubles flight.
BC will return to action on February 27 when they face Hawaii Pacific.
