Chestnut Hill, MA-- The Boston College Eagles defeated Holy Cross for their third victory this week and 12th on the season to improve their record to 12-2.

Senior Joy Ramsbotham(Melvin Village New Hampshire) scored the game-winner with 19:09 remaining of a pass from senior Ann Marie Ambros(Bridgeton, NJ) and senior back Janis Cornwell(Wolfeboro, NH).

Jill Dedman(Orange, CT) recorded her fifth shutout of the season and improves her overall record to 12-2. Dedman now has a save percentage of .88 and goals against average of .7.

Boston College will next play Harvard on October 21st at 7:30 p.m. at Alumni Stadium. This marks BC's last regular-season home game, as they will try to improves their record at Alumni Stadium to 10-1.
