DEDMAN LEADS EAGLES TO PERFECT START
Chestnut Hills, MA -- The stellar play of junior goalkeeper Jill Dedman (Orange, CT) has helped lead the No. 7 Boston College field hockey team to a perfect 6-0 beginning. Among those victories are four wins over Top 20 opponents, including last Sundays 2-1 victory over No. 8 Michigan. Dedman has been brillant during her first season as a starter. Her top play has earned her BIG EAST Goalie of the Week honors for weeks of Sept. 14 and Sept. 21. In 429 minutes of game time, Dedman has yielded only four goals while stopping 46 shots (92% save percentage). Her goals against average is 0.667, tops in the conference.
