BOSTON, Mass. - Alissa Murphy represented Boston College on the 1998 BIG EAST/Nike All-Star Team that toured Austria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, May 28-June 7. The BIG EAST All-Stars, under the direction of University of Miami head coach Ferne Labati, finished their five-game tour with a 2-3 record.
Murphy scored 36 points and registered 16 rebounds in five games. In the 87-75 victory over Locomotiva Istrobanka Bratislava, she netted 13 points and grabbed five rebounds. The all-stars' two victories were against Locomotiva Istrobanka Bratislava (87-75) and Slovan Bratislava BBC (82-72).
