CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Sarah Powell (Natick, Mass./Natick) scored the gamewinner to lift Boston College 1-0 over Brown University Wednesday in the Eagles' last regular season game at the Newton Campus Soccer Field. BC improved to 12-5-1 as the Eagles garnered 12 victories for the second consecutive year under Head Coach Alison Foley. The Browns dropped to 2-10-2 overall.
Powell broke 63 minutes of scoreless play when she received feeds from Mary Guarino (Plantation, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) and Muffin Rueckel (Westport, Conn./Westport) and pounded the ball from 20 yards out toward the far post.
