Field Hockey's Hall Earns BIG EAST Award

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Junior forward Jen Hall was named the BIG EAST?s co-offensive player of the week for her performance in the week ending Oct. 24.
Hall scored the game winning goal with 7:23 left in overtime to give the Eagles a 2-1 victory over Villanova. The win assure Boston College a spot in the season-ending BIG EAST Championships to be held at Syracuse Oct. 5-7.
Hall becomes just the fourth Eagle to put her name on a weekly conference honor. Senior goalkeeper Jill Dedman and freshmen Kim French and Liz Flood are the only other Boston College players to pick up awards.
For the season, Hall has four goals and two assists for 10 points. Boston College is currently 8-8 and faces a difficult week with home against New Hampshire (Oct. 26), nationally ranked Wake Forest (Oct. 29) and Rutgers (Oct. 31)
