CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Boston College field hockey team fell to Harvard 2-1 Wednesday in non-league action.
Freshman Christy Zider scored the Eagles? lone goal on an assist from fellow freshman Kim French less than three minutes into the game.
Boston College failed to score the rest of the way with Harvard?s Dominique Kalil and Katie Schoolwerth putting the ball past senior goalkeeper Jill Dedman.
For the game, Dedman recorded 10 saves. Each team attempted 15 shots on goal.
Now 7-8 overall, the Eagles return to action on Saturday, Oct. 23 when they travel to Villanova, Penn. for a 7:30 p.m. clash with the Wildcats.
