STORRS, Conn. - Boston College fell to No. 1-ranked UCONN 5-0 Wednesday evening in BIG EAST field hockey action.
The Huskies scored one goal in the opening 35 minutes before exploding for four in the second half.
Boston College senior goalkeeper Jill Dedman registered 12 saves in the loss as the Eagles were outshot by Nancy Stevens' squad 21-0.
Now 1-2-0 in BIG EAST action, the Eagles will look to regroup next week with road games at Harvard on Oct. 20 and Villanova on Oct. 23.
