Tom Waddle

An outstanding receiver, Waddle placed third on the BC all- time career list for receptions with 139 for 1,956 yards and 6 touchdowns at the time of his graduation.
Finished his BC career first on the school's all-time list for receptions in a season with 70 in 1988, and tied for first in all-time receptions in a single game with 13 vs. Notre Dame in 1988.
Good speed and hands made him a threat at receiving and punt returns; he was a first-team All-East selection in 1988 and played in the Japan Bowl.
Played for the Chicago Bears, then finished his NFL career with the Cincinnati Bengals in 1995 with 173 receptions for 2,109 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998.
