- Winner of Hobey Baker Award as Best College Hockey Player in America in 2000.
- Three-time All-American, three-time All-Hockey East, and twice recipient of Walter Brown Award as New England’s best American-born college player.
- All-time BC leader in assists by a defenseman with 130 in 163 games. With 157 total points, is BC’s all-time top-scoring defenseman. Ranked 18th among all BC point scorers at graduation. Led the Eagles to three Frozen Four berths and two NCAA championship game appearances.
- Hockey East all-time leader in assists by a defenseman with 79. Second all-time in career points by defenseman with 93 points in 96 games. Named the league’s Best Defensive Defenseman in senior year.
- Received Nathaniel J. Hasenfus “Eagle of the Year” Award in 2000.
- One of only two collegians selected to play for Team USA in 1999 International Ice Hockey Federation Championships.
- Drafted by New York Rangers in seventh round of 1997 National Hockey League draft. Played a total of 321 games over eight seasons in the NHL.
