Mary Guarino was one of the most prolific scorers in BC women's soccer history. Guarino, a native of Plantation, Fla., held the record for most career points until 2001. Her record for most goals in a single season (18) was recently broken in 2013. She is fourth on the all-time list for goals scored with 33 and fourth in points scored (87). Guarino helped the Eagles advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 1999 -- the teams' first appearance since the 1985. In 1999, Guarino set program records by scoring 18 goals, notched nine assists for 45 points. She garnered All-Big East second team honors and was the Offensive Team MVP and earned the Outstanding Senior Award. Guarino played for the Boston Renegades which won the 2002 W-League Championship and also played for the Rochester Reign in the WPSL in 2004. She was the head coach of the women's soccer team at DeSales University in Pennsylvania and is currently running an Aquatic Survival Swimming business.
