Since becoming Boston College's Director of Athletics in 1997, his vision, innovation, leadership and dedication have brought the University's long-successful athletics program to unprecedented levels of victory and accomplishment.
Successfully implemented Boston College's entry into the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2005 and has guided the Eagles to continued success in the ACC, one of America's premier intercollegiate athletic conferences.
Planned and developed the impressive growth and improvement of Boston College's athletic facilities.
During his tenure, Boston College teams and student-athletes have won numerous championships, qualified for NCAA post-season play, achieved national leadership in graduation rates and provided an enormous source of pride and excitement to Boston College's students, alumni, the University community and fans of college sports.
Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011.
