Ben Deflavio was hired on October 1, 2015, as the head coach for the Boston College Men's and Women's Ski Teams.
Deflavio is a 2014 graduate of St. Lawrence University and was a four-year member of the alpine skiing team for the Saints. At Saint Lawrence, Deflavio earned four top-20 finishes during his career and as a junior in 2013 was put into consideration for skiing at the NCAA Championship. Deflavio's highest career finish was 10th at the Saint Lawrence Carnival in 2013.Deflavio served as team captain as was named team MVP as a freshman.
Deflavio is originally from Waitsfield, VT, and coached with Pinnacle Ski Racing in France during the summer of 2014.
