- Today's game marks the second meeting between the two schools.
- Boston College is 0-1 all-time vs. Western Kentucky.
- The Hilltoppers won, 74-68, on Dec. 29, 1982 in the first game of the Cotton States Classic at the Omni in Atlanta.
- BC head coach Jim Christian was an assistant coach at Western Kentucky from 1990-92 under Ralph Willard.
- BC assistant coach Chris Cheeks served in a similar capacity at WKU during the 2016-17 campaign.
- In 29 games all-time in NIT play, Boston College is 17-12.
- The Eagles last appearance came in 2011, winning at McNeese State before falling at home to Northwestern.

- Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman each earned All-ACC honors in an announcement by the conference office on March 4.
- Robinson was the runner-up for ACC Player of the Year, earning 17 of the 57 votes. Duke's Marvin Bagley III won the award.
- Robinson was a virtual unanimous pick for All-ACC First Team, garnering 273 of 280 possible points.
- He finished the regular season as the ACC's scoring leader - at 20.7 points per game - percentage points ahead of Bagley III. Â
- In league play, the junior guard was dominant - scoring at a 24.3 points per game clip during the ACC's 18-game slate. Â
- He also led the league in 3-point FG percentage, making 43.8% (74-169) of his attempts beyond the arc
- Robinson also ranked among the league leaders in overall field goal percentage, free throw percentage, and 3FG made.
- Bowman earned a spot on the league's All-ACC honorable mention list. Â
- The sophomore point guard is the only player in the country to average at least 16.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.8 assists.
- He is also the only player in the ACC to rank in the top 10 in scoring and assists and top 15 in rebounding.
- The Havelock, N.C. native has five double-doubles in points and rebounds and scored 20 or more points on nine occasions.
- His best single-game performance was a near triple-double vs. top-ranked Duke: 30 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. He was named ACC Player of the Week on Dec. 11.
- Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman were both named to the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association's All-ACC team.
- Robinson was named to the ACSMA's All-ACC First Team while Bowman earned a spot on the Third Team.
- Voting was conducted by 22 members of the ACSMA - an organization of journalists dedicated to fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between the news media and the institutions and administration of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
- Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman were both named to the United States Basketball Writers Association All-District 1 team.
- The best backcourt in the ACC were among the 10 players selected from all Division I schools in New England.
- Jerome Robinson dished out 10 assists during the ACC Tournament, putting him at 116 assists on the year.
- Ky Bowman leads the Eagles with a single-season career-high of 163 assists on the season.
- It marks the first time since 2010-11 (Reggie Jackson - 156; Biko Paris 117) that two BC players reached the 115 assist mark.
- As a team, Boston College has 485 assists on the season - good for an average of 14.3 helpers per game.

- The freshman forward led BC in steals against N.C. State yesterday as well as 14 other games. Â
- The Shakopee, Minn. native led BC in scoring with 21 points versus S.C State on November 12.
- Mitchell was also tops in assists on four occasions, including dishing out a career-best seven dimes at Miami.
- Pitt, La Salle and Columbia are the only games this season in which he has not led Boston College in a statistical category.
- The Eagles have made 10 or more 3FG in 14 games this year - including 12 last time out against Clemson in the ACC Tourney.
- Last year, Boston College made 10 or more 3-pointers in nine of its 32 total games.
- BC ranks second in the ACC in 3FG made per game (8.65 3FG/g). The Eagles made 9.33 3FG/g in conference games.
